We encourage our members to participate in our community fiber demonstrations. Bring any fiber demonstration to show to the public. You will also need to bring a chair.

Hello Huntersville Festival!
Hello Huntersville Festival on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
This is a great chance to showcase our fiber arts through demonstrations such as spinning, knitting, crocheting, and weaving while engaging with the community.
Event Details:
- Set up begins at 10:00 AM
- Booth space is 10 ft x 12 ft
- I will bring a tent for shade
- We need volunteers to help set up the tent
- We need volunteers to help break down our booth at 6:00 PM
- Please bring your own chairs, tables, and any materials needed for your demonstration

Date: Saturday, June 6
Time: 10:00 AM (setup) through 2:00 PM
Public Hours: Visitors will be coming through between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM

This is a popular community event where visitors come to watch sheep shearing and learn about the journey from fleece to finished fiber. We have been invited to demonstrate fiber arts and help educate the public about what we do.
Important: We are limited to 8 demonstrators, so space is very limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
We are looking for volunteers to demonstrate:
- Spinning (wheel or drop spindle)
- Knitting or crocheting
- Weaving or other fiber techniques
- Wool prep (carding, combing, etc.)
What to expect:
- Outdoor setting on a beautiful working farm
- Opportunity to share your skills and talk with the public
- A chance to support and promote our guild
